Best way to query if a change has occurred on a process instance (and any related entities)

Hi

Any suggestions on the best way to query for the newest set of changes to process instance(s)?

Initial Thoughts:

  1. Has any token moved (activity instances since N date)?
  2. Has any Variable been created or changed? (Current API is not very good at this: such a filtering by create date)
  3. External Task Activity…
  4. Job Activity…

Other thoughts?
