Bundled linter in (desktop) modeler

Hi there – I always used the BPMN linter plugin with the desktop modeler. I know saw that the linter should be bundled with the latest modeler versions >= 5.3. So my understanding is I don’t need a separate plugin anymore? However, how do I enable the bundled linter with modeler 5.4.1 on MacOS? No custom rules, just recommended. I tried to provide a .bpmnlintrc in several locations but I cannot see any effects.

@joehm You’d want to inject rules via a plug-in such as camunda-modeler-custom-linter-rules-plugin:

Currently in discussion is the weather we want to provided the recommended rules out of the box with both desktop and web modeler (they help to improve the quality of modeled diagrams, a benefit for everyone involved).

Note that we do not differentiate between errors and warnings in the built-in linting UI yet, a feature we likely (no guarantees!) will ship with Desktop Modeler 5.5.

Sorry, how does one do this exactly when opening the Camunda Modeler from the Mac OS Dock?
