Call activity & Parent process swimm lanes and pools

Hi Dear Camunders,

Lately I came to case in modeling BPMN where it would be approporiate if a call activity would have pools and swim lanes and at the same time parent process would also have pools and swimm lanes.

For me it seems like some details would be lost from the parent process and I feel like this is not the right way to model the process but it is just my feeling.

Do you have any recommendation or best practice in this case?

Hi @Michal_S,

if you put the call activity into a swimlane, formally you put the complete called process in the resposibility of the swimlane.

That means, that formally the called process could not contain more than one swimlane.
