Camunda 8.9 with Envoy Gateway

Is it supported to deploy Camunda 8.9 along with Envoy Gateway?

Camunda 8.9 supports Kubernetes Gateway API which should theoretically work with Envoy Gateway, though it’s not explicitly tested or documented. I found the following relevant resources:

Does this help? If not, can anyone from the community jump in? :waving_hand:

Camunda 8.x can be installed along with Envoy. Are you planning to integrate with on premise or SAAS Camunda.

I am planning to install Camunda 8.x using docker first in a VM. But after my existing Nginx Controller will be converted to Envoy Gateway in Q3 2026, I will deploy Camunda 8.x in the same Kubernetes environment. Do you think Zee-bot’s resources will be sufficient?

I will deploy it and let you know. I did not get your question,“Do you think Zee-bot’s resources will be sufficient?”

I meant Zee-bot’s relevant resources above. Zee-bot is an AI Agent. I need human like you to confirm it. Thanks for your effort to try deploying Camunda and Envoy Gateway.

The links that Zee bot linked to are all written by humans, not bots. If there’s issues with the documentation, it’s all Github based, so you can file an Issue on the documentation repo.

It will work @rudy.indo but you’ll need a little bit of experience (and[/or] AI support) as the Helm chart has a few shortcomings as of now, see #67888.

I prefer to wait until October when Envoy Gateway is ready with my main application. Hope the Helm chart has no shortcomings at that time so I can move Camunda installation from docker based installation into kubernetes based installation.
