Sorry for the beginner question: I just made my first pull request ever to a camunda repository here. Is it necessary to “tell” this somebody (in the forum for example) or will the Camunda Team see this anyway?

There is no need to tell anybody, we check the pull requests regularly.
It could be that sometimes they’re some delays replying for which we kindly thank you for your understanding.
