Populate fields based on another field in Camunda 8

Hi,

I want to populate fields based on another field(id) in Camunda 8 form, and these fields should be retrieved from database using the field entered (id)

Is there a way to achieve this?

Hi,
Ive not found a neat way in native forms, they are quite basic…

If you create a custom tasklist app, then you have full access to say a javascript framework and anything is possible…

The best I have found in native 8 forms is you could use user tasks to build up a pageflow and between pages you can use scripts to manipulate variables, but this is a crude UX…

I eagerly await a richer native forms capability .
