Possible DRD Improvements

Hi,

I was going through the course on academy portal which talks about modeling decisions. As part of the course, the final DRD looks something like below:

Now I modelled it exactly and was expecting to see it automatically populates inputs and outputs based on the DRD. But to my surprise the DMN table “Loan Approval Decision” was empty as below:

Can we just automate the DMN table to auto populate based on the DRD. Like in this case, Profitability and Risk as inputs and LoanApprovalDecision as output columns ? Ofcourse the rows will be empty and left for the user to fill, but atleast at the columns level, I would like to see the inputs and outputs prepopulated.

Any thoughts ?

This is for sure something we’ve been thinking about for a while.
I’ll find out if there are plans to build this kind of feature, it would be very handy indeed

I like this idea. I created an issue for it: Auto-fill inputs of decision table if possible · Issue #888 · bpmn-io/dmn-js · GitHub However, I cannot promise that we’ll build this any time soon.
