Process definition not redeployed following deletion

I deleted a process definition via REST and then redeployed the WAR file (containing the bmpn of process) → the same process definition was not restored in camunda cockpit.

Why and how can I ensure this process definition is restored following redeployment?

Hi,
I am sure, that it is too late, but maybe it would be helpful for someone else.

I had absolutely the same problem. So, it is fixed by simply removing dependencies for testing from build.
