Seeking Guidance: Correctly Implementing Timer Events in Camunda 8 Tests

I am in the process of migrating my workflow tests from Camunda 7 to Camunda 8 and have the following code:

        assertThat(processInstance)
                .isStarted()
                .isActive()
                .isWaitingAt("Event_1wbzrif");                      // "Warte..."
        execute(job());

“Event_1wbzrif” is an intermediate catch event timer that needs to be “triggered” in tests as outlined above. What is the correct implementation for this part of the test in Camunda 8?
