After successful installation/configuration of Camunda 8.3.1 Self-Managed, we are trying to evaluate the product and create a process that consists of User tasks that need to be assigned to different users based on the user group.
We set the “Candidate Groups” of the tasks in the modeler, but the tasks are visible to any user (even if he does not belong to the specific user group) and anyone can “Assign to me”.
If the product cannot block the actions of users that do not belong to the “Candidate Groups“, what is the meaning/use of the “Candidate Groups”?
How can we implement tasks for specific groups?

Hi jbekiari, the functionality of the candidate groups is not implemented yet, you have to filter manually. Threads with answers that have the same problem:
- Candidate Groups for User Tasks apparently not taking effect - #5 by aleksander-dytko answered by a Camundo.
- Are groups replaced by roles in Camunda 8? - #8 by cma my conclusions in February.
