Usertask assignment in C8 and tasklist

Hi,
I just saw that my “old” models with user tasks assigned to user demo are actually not directly assigned to demo in tasklist. Have to unclaim/claim it before getting it to work.

tells me that I have to use the “unreadable” unique-ID of a user in my models to assign them?

Is this a workaround or an incompatible change to use IDs instead of usernames in models for tasklist?

It would result in people modifying their models and make them more unreadable than before.

I haven’t tried this out recently, so i’ll give it a go and speak to some folk about what might be the expected behaviour.
