Hi everyone!
I’m a software engineer with a strong focus on Java backend development. This is my first deep dive into the BPMN world, and after evaluating several solutions on the market, I proposed the adoption of Camunda 8 Self-Managed for our architecture because it meets all of our requirements.

In our setup, end users won’t interact directly with Camunda — it’s a backend orchestration layer. As such, my main interests revolve around proper use of the APIs, integration with Keycloak through Identity, and tenant-aware authentication and authorization.

I’m currently exploring:

• How to work with Zeebe user tasks effectively

• Managing tenants, users, and permissions dynamically

• Best practices for service task instantiation
