Add a button/link to the tasklist navigation bar

I’d like to add a link or button to the tasklist top navbar:

The button only has to open a fixed URL in a blank page. I think that I need to create a plugin, as stated here:

Hi, Could you please some one help me on how to add a hyper link to the tasklist nav bar. I have a requirement that, user able to navigate different application from camunda tasklist navbar. (like before ‘Create Task’. needs to have a hyper link) the new application not related to camunda. Just needs to provide a link. Appreciate your help. Thanks & Regards Srinivas

So, I’ve read the following article in the documentation:
