Building Custom Reports

Hi There,

Does Camunda 8 have capability to build custom reports using Optimize?. Meaning can we build custom dashboard / reports b extracting business data from external datasource (RDBMS)

You can build custom reports and dashboards using out of the box functionality but Optimize is designed for process analytics and reporting based on data from the Camunda engine itself.

As far as I know, there is no out-of-the-box RDBMS integration but you could think about possible workarounds based on your business case to pull data into Camunda(pull data into the processes/variables).
