Camunda 7 Community Edition

As per the announcement on Camunda portal, it is mentioned that :

  1. Camunda 7 Community edition will be EOL in 2025
  2. Camunda 7 will get minor releases until October 2025

So I wanted to understand what it means for the projects which are developed on Camunda Community edition 7?

We dont have budget to migrate to Enterprise Edition but there is a mandate to move out of community edition as there is no support from 2025 October.

Is there any support from Camunda to migrate other bpmns such as flowable or activiti or any other which you people can suggest

Camunda 8 is EE right or do we have any community edition?

It’s not possible to use Camunda 8 in production without a license.

Can you suggest other options as we cannot migrate to EE.
We are working on camunda 7 since 4 years. We opted for Camunda EE in 2022-2023 and later due to budget constraints we roll backed to CE.
Are there any plans to extend CE support till 2027 or Camunda 8.6 CE or below till 2027?

The post by @JohnArray originally linked some projects that have forked Camunda 7. Becuase Camunda doesn’t want to seen to endorse any forks of Camunda tentativly or otherwise, we’ve decide to remove these links from the forum if they appear.
