Hello Camunda lovers,
We were considering maybe migrating from Camunda 7 to Camunda 8. However, we found some interesting things which are not mentioned in the migration guidelines.
To start a new process instance or to route a message to an already running instance, you have to choose the appropriate technology option to do so, like using the existing API or using customized possibilities including SOAP, AMQP, or Kafka....
As per the Camunda 8 documentation, signal and conditional events are not supported yet in Camunda 8.
When will this be supported?
Thanks in advance,
It’s hard to give a timeline on this at the moment. We’ve prioritized the events to some extent and I think compensation is the most high priority.
The others should follow quickly behind, but sadly i can’t really give more information than that.
That’s also heavily used by us.
@Niall for the reply
Is there any update on this yet?
It’s on the way. You can follow the Zeebe issues
