Camunda 8 is progressing is slow eventhough resources are enough is it due to huge avro schema

Hi All,

I’m here to know the reason for my camunda 8 zeebe ,operate where we are triggering 10k instances but those are stuck in between the flows. where we are using kafka avro message.
Note: we have enough resources. Optimize is also not coming up due to out of memory.
how can i improve the performance. Thank you.

Would you please provide more details about your environment.

  1. What is your Camunda version,
  2. Are you using Self Hosted or Saas based
  3. If Self hosted, what’s your kubernetes version, how many workers nodes and memory allocated.
  4. Did you conduct performance test before you deploy into prod or test environment.
  5. Did you follow any benchmark guidelines?
  6. Are you streaming to Kafka or streaming from Kafka using Avro schema.
