I am having ES sharding/indexing issue in our self managed C8.1 and due to that our camunda operate is not working. Though all nodes running fine and all ES node status us Red.
Could anyone please help on this?

This is the error we are seeing
"reason" : "unable to find any unassigned shards to explain [ClusterAllocationExplainRequest[useAnyUnassignedShard=true,includeYesDecisions?=false]"

Have you tried to restart the ES nodes?
yes, we have been tried restart as well increasing size as well.
Has this setup ever worked before, or is this a new environment?
Yes, it was working environment but after increasing the size all nodes took restart and then we started facing the issue.
And restoring the previous count of nodes does not help?
yes, not helping.
Could you share what settings you use for the ES in your deployment?
