I am new to BPMN and I’m trying to make a chart in in Camunda Modeler but although it looks
simple to use I can’t find certain basic functions such as how to put text into the tasks I’ve created.
I realise this is totally a noob type question…

We’re here to help, and no question is too noob! We were all there once. That being said, a good place to start might be with some of @Niall’s brilliant videos.
This one is probably a great place to start and should get you off the ground.
