Cloud / SaaS cluster version rollback

Currently, it appears that version changes to a Cloud / SaaS cluster are limited to updating to the latest version.

Is there any plan to introduce more flexibility into Cloud Cluster version that is used?

e.g.

  • What if I want to upgrade to 8.2.11 but not 8.2.12?
  • What if I upgrade to 8.2.12 and find a problem and would like to revert to 8.2.10?

It seems like the best approach currently would be to create a new cluster on the most recent version, deploy my processes, test, and then get rid of the older versioned cluster after validating that everything is working.

Hi @slate83 - I am not aware of any plans to implement rollbacks. I will pass this feedback along to the product team! The approach you describe is one that many people are using: test on a separate cluster, then migrate your production instance after your testing has passed.
