Do You Need DMN Sever Instance to use DMN

With Camunda Enterprise Edition in order to use DMN within your BPMN workflows, do you need to add DMN capability to the license and have to include DMN Server instances within your licensed environment?

the Engine comes with BPMN engine and DMN engine. No need to install anything else.

So to clarify you do not need DMN Server Instances to utilise DMA in your work flows. You only need those Instances if you want dedicated server resources for decision making load?

Hello @sawatson ,

yes this is correct. camunda-engine-dmn is part of camunda-engine. You will be able to run BPMN and DMN on the same engine instance. Or, by only using camunda-engine-dmn, you will be able to only run DMN.
