Error: Tomcat may not be running

Hello Camunda Team

I have the below setup

camunda : latest
java version: “1.8.0_261” (also tried JDK 14.0.2)

env settings:
JAVA_HOME: C:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.8.0_261
JRE_HOME: C:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.8.0_261

**system and user path settings **

Path: C:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.8.0_261\bin

but when i click the shutdown-camunda.bat, i get the error below

org.apache.catalina.startup.Catalina.stopServer Could not contact [localhost:8005] (base port [8005] and offset [0]). Tomcat may not be running.

please let me know, what I m missing.

In which port you’re running the tomcat? Verify that same port is used to stop the service also.

Actually, I m not running anything from my side, I just ran the camunda cockpit .bat file but it is giving me the error.

but no problem I think there is some issue in the verison for apache tomcat for the window.

I ran the wildfy it ran successfully.
