Working with many process variables can get messy; and of course you want to watch your naming conventions.
Something that was brought up continually when looking at variables in the cockpit app was the ability to group variables by some sort of Virtual Scope or Tag that would allow you “virtually” group variables for easier visibility, findability, and faster reference.
The virtual scope would not really have to do anything other than provide label/tag attribute in the process variable data so the UI can group these content for better reporting/monitoring.
Anyone else see a need for this or have other solutions?
