Input parameters in end event

Hi
I understand the application parameters in activities and intermediate event and gateway. But I do not understand the application input parameters in the end events
when we use input parameter in the none end event? when we use input parameters in end message event and end signal event?

It can be useful when you want to get these parameters and send them to another point in a process or to another instances.
