I’m curious if there’s a specific reason why “Link events” don’t appear in the execution history, resulting in no token being displayed in the BPMN history overview:

For more complex BPMNs, it isn’t immediately clear if a link event was executed. What is the reasoning behind this? Is it a bug or by design?

Hi @SteppingRazor

As far as I recall, links are only visual things. They exist to avoid cluttering the process diagram. Process execution wise it’s the same as connecting activities directly.
