This is what they have in store for you: most people ask how to migrate from Camunda 7 to Camunda 8. Camunda’s advice is to separate the business logic from the engine’s API. On the one hand, this is a good idea to keep your software simple, maintainable, and easy to migrate, but on the other hand, this is also a burden to implement. Therefore, Phactum developed a Java business processing SPI to take this burden from you. Using it gives you the freedom to develop new business processing software still with Camunda 7. Later you can migrate to Camunda 8 without changing your code at all. This talk will bring you closer to this kind of C8 readiness.
