MySQL Database in Camunda

Hello I am doing a camunda springboot project for my university coursework. I am currently trying to connect MySQL database to the project. When i try to do that i get the following error :

I’ve tried adding every dependency that might’ve worked on older version, however with no success. I the Camunda documentation and downloaded the Nexus files that are required for creating the MySQL tables and checked the version multiple times.

Here is my application.yaml file:

Hello my dear!

Have you configured Camunda to also create or update the necessary tables automatically?
camunda.bpm.database.schema-update=true

Try putting this in your application.properties, and check if it works.

From what I saw in the console log, the driver is not accepting this url from your bank… and this could be for several reasons:

Camunda version x SQL driver version (I saw that version 8.0.33 works well in Camunda versions 7.13 / 7.14 / 7.15)… if your Camunda is not one of these versions, change and test.
It could be your bank’s URL, but this seems to be correct.

Between others…

You can also try running a mvn clean and mvn install

The JDK version should be 8 or greater.
Try this URL:

spring.datasource.url = jdbc:mysql://localhost:3306/camunda?useSSL=false&autoReconnect=true&sendFractionalSeconds=false

If not working let us know:

Which JDK version are you using?
Are you trying to connect to multiple data sources?
