Hello everyone,
I’m struggling to understand if Camunda 8 self-hosted solution is truly compatible with Opensearch (instead of Elasticsearch) ?
Based on the Supported environments doc, I understood that Camdunda 8.2 is compatible only with OS 1.x and 8.3 is (will be ?) compatible with OS2.5+ (so 2.9 should be ok ?)
On my side, on a local docker compose environment (from the template) I tried :
- camunda 8.2.11 (with operate 8.2.11-opensearch), connectors 0.20.3 and OS1.3 : I’ve errors on connector plugins activation and unable to deploy workflows from desktop modeler
- camund 8.3-alpha3 and OS2.9 : Operate is unable to start because it want an elasticsearch 6+.
So I’m a bit confused on the Opensearch compatibility and exactly which version match is able to run Camunda globally ?
