I have downloaded and installed Camunda Modeler v5.38.1 replacing v5.15.1. The problem I have with v5.38.1, the File, Edit, Window, Help ribbon does not show. Can anyone help?

I am using Window 11 Pro. I downloaded the latest Camunda Modeler version into the Downloads directory then copied it into the Document>Camunda folder. I ran it from the Document>Camunda folder. It does not appear in the Windows 11 Start Menu as it does not install in the usual way. The problem of the ribbon not showing has been present since 5.38.1 so I am still using the older version.
I checked that both versions 5.38.1 and 5.15.1 are distributed as archives containing the Modeler itself. Neither camunda-modeler-5.38.1-win-x64.zip nor camunda-modeler-5.15.1-win-x64.zip includes a Windows installer.
I don’t know how you initially installed version 5.15.1, but the current behavior seems to be expected.

Most likely, the Windows shortcut still points to the older version and may be located in a different folder. I recommend checking the shortcut properties and updating the reference there.
Another option is to right-click the new Camunda Modeler.exe file, choose the option to create a shortcut, and then place it somewhere convenient for you.
I run 5.15.1 from the Document>Camunda in the same way I tried running 5.38.1 but the ribbon problem only occurs in 5.38.1. I have tried creating a shortcut and running 5.38.1 from the shortcut but get the same problem
It might be an idea to include a Windows installer in future versions.
I found the solution. When I opened the new version of Camunda Modeler it opened in full- screen mode. By using the keyboard shortcut Fn+F11 the ribbon displayed correctly.
