the comments in this thread say that in the future all User Task APIs for Zeebe User Tasks will be available in the Zeebe REST API.
Do you perhaps know if this will be available in the 8.6 release? Or can we expect it with a later release?

Hi @bpmnenthusiast - there are improvements coming to the REST API in 8.6, but the full unified API likely won’t be available until 8.7, which is currently targeted for January. I believe the rest of the Tasklist endpoints you are looking for will be in the 8.7 release.

Specifically, we are only interested in the Search tasks endpoint. A restriction comes up for us when the Tasklist API is secured via a self-signed certificate. We couldn’t find a way to configure the Community Tasklist Client Lib to trust the certificate the way it is possible with the official Zeebe Client Lib. (Configuration for a self-signed SSL certificate · Issue #96 · camunda-community-hub/camunda-tasklist-client-java · GitHub)
