I came through below information in documentation. It says the compensation event is supported in Camunda 7, but not yet in Camunda 8. It is on the roadmap and will eventually be available in Camunda 8.

We are trying to rebuild the below example in camunda 8 which is already available in camunda 7.
Could you please let me know if there is any timeline for this feature to be available in camunda 8?

The docs are wrong here. Compensation is supported in C8.

Hi @Niall , Thanks for your quick response. The example you have shared is mostly connecting to external systems like slack or gmail and doing the compensation event. Can you provide any examples with Java integration similar to trip booking from camunda 7. We need to execute some java logic for each of the compensation.
