Service Task Escalation // ParseException

Hi,

there is topic Service Task Escalation , which deals with escalation events on service tasks. According to the topic, this supports API escalation to ServiceTasks.

There is one big but though:

  • There are still open questions in the topic, how do you get the TaskId?
  • It is not at all possible to deploy a ServiceTask with an escalte boundary event.
    ** org.camunda.bpm.engine.ParseException: ENGINE-09005 Could not parse BPMN process. Errors: An escalation boundary event should only be attached to a subprocess, a call activity or an user task

Is this a feature that is supported or will it remain open in Camunda 7?
