Start process with file attachment in Modeler 4.7

Hi,

i was trying the attach file option of starting a process from modeler version 4.7. I was hoping the PDF I choosed will be a variable in the process instance. But it is not attached like if I i am starting the process from Tasklist with file attachment.

Did I missed something I have to take care of to use this feature?

Attached file is part of deployment as a deployment resource. It’s not available as a variable, but you can refer it for example in a Business Rule Task (as a DMN) or a User Task (forms).

Hi Barmac,

thx for the answer. Can I then suggest to remove “Include additional files” from the “Start process instance” GUI? Where could I post such a suggestion?
