I am trying to start the modeler on Ubuntu 16.04 LTS but get the following error:
[22641:0130/111820.251613:FATAL:setuid_sandbox_host.cc(157)] The SUID sandbox helper binary was found, but is not configured correctly. Rather than run without sandboxing I’m aborting now. You need to make sure that /home/*****/Dev/camunda-modeler-3.6.0-linux-x64/chrome-sandbox is owned by root and has mode 4755.
Searching the internet I found a workaround: Starting the modeler with the parameter “–no-sandbox” works. But that is probably something I shouldn’t do. Any idea, what the problem might be?
Btw, I am an unpriviledged user on the system. Running stuff as root is therefore not possible.
