Timer Duration unexpected behavior

Hi Guys,
I’m getting some unexpected behavior on a timer.
I have a timer set to PT2M for testing. There is a single case for testing - but the instance numbers are building up very quickly - I would expect the numbers to be running below 2 and not in the thousands ?
(This has taken about 2 hours to build up to this level) I would also expect the case to move and not a new instance getting created?

Can you upload your BPMN file - it looks to me that the timer event isn’t correctly attached to the task.
