Camunda 7 is reaching its end of life (EOL) in the near future, with its last minor release in October 2025. You can find more information about Camunda 7’s support timeline here. For Community Edition, support ends in 2025; for Enterprise Edition, that expands to full support through 2027 and extended support after.
For that reason, I’d recommend Camunda 8. You can choose either SaaS or Self Managed depending on your needs, and you can start a free trial to experiment. Lots more information about Camunda 8’s features and components is located on this documentation page –
Note that Camunda 8 requires a license for production usage.
