Dear all,
I want to use camunda for our processes but as we are German, we need to be really sure that the files are only stored wherever I chose, let’s say locally. I looked through the documentation but I couldn’t find anything. An easy question but I need “proof”.

Camunda was founded in Germany so we understand the strict data requirements. Have you looked at our Product Privacy Policy page? We also have an external Data Protection Officer for German data subjects whose information is listed on that page as well.
@HannahDD Can you please add more information to your question? If I read your topic it sounds like you mean “where are the BMPN files that I work with in the dekstop modeler saved”? Or do you mean in which region are the process definitions deployed?
When you create a cluster in Camunda 8 SaaS, you specify a region for that cluster. Available GCP regions are listed here: Regions | Camunda 8 Docs.
Exactly, the first question: where are the BMPN files that I work with in the dekstop modeler saved”? 
They are saved wherever you choose to save them using the Safe File dialog. Or maybe I’m missing something here
