Hi in the 7.8 release there are no enhancements to your cmmn implementation. Any idea when you will expand the cmmn capabilities to support events and other elements? Most of the focus seems to always be on cockpit and other tools.

Agree! Events in ccmn are really needed
We are doing not much for CMMN at the moment as there has not been much interest in it, at least compared to the other features of Camunda and other standards like BPMN and DMN. There are also no concrete plans for new execution features at the moment. Thanks for voicing your interest, though. We are also always open for contributions.

Thams for the quick response. I am really surprised that you don’t have more requests for enhancements on cmmn. Infact cmmn is so much more powerful than bpmn and more expressive concisely. Adding the power of message and timer events, discretionary tasks and loop back to stages would push camunda’s implementation over the top and make it the undisputable king of bpm systems. I really mean this and I hope you consider this request to enhance at least the events and loop backs
