Zeebe Operate - authorization for buttons / actions

Hello Zeebe team,
is there any possibility to have the button in the Instances > Operations (retry, cancel) bound to some “right, role” or any user variable from logged user? simple: can those two buttons be bound to authorization?

Because we can login with LDAP or SSO but the info from the User object is useless when the Operate as whole is “view only” without further authorization. Are there any setup for this?

Hi @Jan_Kovar,

Only authentication is implemented at the moment. No authorization presently.

When I set a user with this configuration

Full Access to Operate in Assigned Roles, Authorization to just read-only to all resource data

then login to Operate still has all actions (retry, cancel, discard) on Operate page, even though it doesn’t work at all

is it expected as you said on 21’?
or any configuration that I’m missing?
